It looks rustic and effortlessly beautiful.A good cutting board, however, is best used for a single purpose. And even then, some people might feel a little uncomfortable eating off of the same serving plate that their food was prepared on.So we took the design of our artisanal 11×20 Ash Wood Cutting Board and made it available as 6×12 serving plates in sets of four.The idea, of course, is nothing special. As it turns out, there are a lot of restaurants and people who like the idea of making their food look as good as it tastes. The mineral oil protects the wood from drying out and cracking, and also prevents liquids from penetrating the boards, which can often be a source of bacteria. The oil turns the boards a darker shade, adding a rustic character which you can see in the last two images.
